2015 Book Advent Calendar with LadyBug Home

Christmas 2014 when I was cuddling my newborn baby boy I came across the idea of creating a book advent calendar from fellow blogger Oh So Amelia. We love advent calendars in our home and often have several of them to count down the days to Christmas.
This year, I decided to gather together my daughter's winter and Christmas themed books. I discovered that we have collected a rather large collection the last couple years and had enough to create an Advent Calendar of 24 days of books. I will wrap the books up and each day my daughter can rediscover one of her books.

If you wanted to this book advent calendar this year, the books do not need to be Christmas or winter books but can just be a bunch of books that you have not read for a couple months. You can even head to your local library to add to your collection for the month of December. I included a couple books for Baby Boy to enjoy and a couple activity books that will be useful though the month while traveling to Christmas adventures.

Below are some of my ideas of our family's favourite books.

For the Little Ones
Ladybird Big Noisy Book: Christmas Songs
That's Not My Santa (Thats Not My)
Each Peach Pear Plum (Viking Kestrel Picture Books)
Busy Santa (Busy Books)

Christmas & Winter Activity Books
Christmas Colouring and Activity Book (Usbone Colouring and Activity Books)
Santa's Workshop Sticker Book
Santa Sticker and Colouring Book (Colouring & Sticker Book)
Christmas Magic Painting Book

Christmas Themed
Bear Stays Up for Christmas
Snow Bunny's Christmas Wish
One Christmas Night
Zoe and Beans: Zoe's Christmas List

Let It Snow
The Snowman
One Snowy Night
Here Comes Jack Frost
The Polar Express: 30th Anniversary Edition

Celebrating December Birthdays and Family Favourites
On the Night You Were Born
Madeline's Christmas
Santa's Coming to London (Santa Is Coming)
The Night Before Christmas

I hope you enjoyed our list of family's favourite books and discovered some new ones for your family. I love shopping for new wrapping paper designs each year but you can re-use the wrapping paper but wrapping the books by following Reading Confetti Book Tree Advent tutorial.
