Moodles Presents HAPPY - Moodle Your Way to a Smile #Review

I was very interest to review the Moodles Presents Happyfrom Parragon Books. A normal day for me includes chasing after my children and bouncing from one activity to another in hopes to complete a task from my endless to-do list. One of goals for 2016 is to take some time to focus on me. Find a moment each day to relax and reflect on my life. Most days I ride a rollercoaster of emotions. One minute I am happy and the next minute about to cry in frustration.

The idea behind this book is to take a fews minutes to change your mood. By doing the activities you may find you changing your mood from sad to happy or mad to glad. It is not a "happy pill" but a way to reflect and maybe distract your mind from negative or overwhelming thoughts. Each person reading this book will have an unique experience but hopefully positive.

What is a Moodle?
"Well, a Moodle is just a doodle with the power to change your mood. ... All you need is a pen or pencil, imagination and open mind"
The book is a smaller size allowing it to be easy tossed into your handbag or baby bag to take it with you when you leave the house. Every page has a different topic to inspire you and maybe just a page to encourage you to picture the sunset and relax.

It is hard to pick one page or activity that I particularly like because they all make me smile and are so imaginative.

A couple of my favourite are:
  •  "Hide 20 miniature grinning frogs on other pages of this book."
  • "Write yourself a Love Letter with your left hand" (Or your right if you're left-handed)
  • "Draw Three Things you are grateful for today"
I am no artist so my moodles will probably not make sense to anyone else but this is for "me" and nobody else's eyes. So next time I feel overwhelmed with life, I am leaving the children with the husband and create some moodles.
