GIVEAWAY: Win 1 (One) Superhero Cape - 3 Winners

In our home you will not find any princess dresses but instead of many superheroes capes. My very imaginative 5 year old daughter would gladly be a superhero character everyday of the year. She often recruits her little brother to be part of her Justice League. Some days she is Batman (never Batgirl) and other days Captain America. If you listen to talking to her imaginary friends, she is often discussing going on adventures to save someone or solving a crime. She loves running fast as the "Flash" and pretending to throw webs from her wrists like "Spiderman".

On Monday, February 13th, 2017, Mark Warner announced the submission requirements for the 2017 Mark Warner Holidays' Family Blogger Ambassador search. The topic this year is "Top 10 Travel Must Haves". I can think of a long list of "must have" items for traveling within UK and internationally but it was important our blog entry also reflected the personality of my family.  Due to the superheroes fun in our home, we created a video titled "Top 10 Must Haves for Little Superheroes" and corresponding blog post.

Little Passports Exploration - Part One

We were very excited to receive an email to explore the world of Little Passports with a 3-Month gift subscription. If you are not familiar with Little Passport, it is a monthly subscription aimed at children between the ages of 3 to 10 years old. Originally launched in 2009 by two moms (Amy and Stella), there is currently three different subscriptions packages available for the UK children. There is "Early Explorers" aimed at 3-5 years olds and each month explore different world themes like: music, oceans, dinosaurs, world coins and celebrations. There is also the "World Edition" aimed at 6-10 years olds and will be sent a package about a new country each month with souvenirs and hand-on activities. NEW "Science Expeditions" aimed at 9+ years old now available in the UK.

Oglee Poglee "The Invention" Craft Box #Review

Oglee Poglee is a business that was created by Claire Gillespie of Hertfordshire that specialises in imaginative craft boxes, children craft workshops and party entertainment. We at LadyBug Home are extremely lucky that we have previously attended several of her craft workshops in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire.
We were very excited when Claire sent us "The Invention" craft box for an afternoon of crafting. The craft boxes are aimed at 3-8 years old and retail at £18.00 + shipping. My 3 1/2 daughter loves robots, cars and planes so this was a perfect box to keep her entertained. I really enjoyed playing with the items in the box also.

I have made it through 4 months of blogging! I am still a blogging "newbie" but most bloggers can tell you that blogging is lot of hard work so every milestone is worth celebrating!

NEW FAMILY ADVENTURE My blogging experience has involved the whole family. My sweet children have allowed me to take endless photos of them.  My husband and I have worked as a team to learn about the technology side of blogging. My husband has even gone on trips to the park to take "stock" photos of flowers, read books on blogging, and sent me links to interesting blogging articles. We have been provided some fun items to "review" and look forward to new adventures in the future together. CELEBRATE!
