Me & Mine: A Family Portrait Project 2015 - June

How quickly the year is flying by! We are half-way through 2015 and it is feels like just yesterday that we were celebrating Christmas. This month, we did not have a family photo until this evening. My sweet husband came home and I told him that we would have to take a photo(s) before dinner. Little Ladybug (LL) and Bumblebee Boy (BB) change so much each month that we must document the changes.
This month has honestly been about preparing to attend Blogtacular and BritMums Live blogging conferences in London. Blogtacular was the first time I was away from BB for more than a hour or two and that Husband was alone with both children the whole day. They had a great day and LL stayed in her pyjamas all day. I could definitely tell that BB was ready for some special mommy cuddles when I got home but he was a happy boy for his Daddy.

I took BB with me to BritMums Live and was a little disappointed by the experience but that happens sometimes. I got lots of cuddles from BB and he we had fun traveling on the train together. BB wore the cutest t-shirt from my BritMums Sponsor
We celebrated BB's 6-month birthday. Since LL and BB are born within a month of Christmas then we do tend to celebrate the 6-month birthdays every year. There is always a fun summer toy or item that we would like to purchase. The last couple years, I think LL's 6-month birthday gifts were a sandbox and a scooter.

BB is trying to catch his sister. He is not crawling yet but rolling and loves to practise bouncing up and down with his leg muscles. He is loving his new foods and laughing at his sister. LL just continues to amaze me with her imaginative mind and her ability to really understand new ideas and concepts. Sometimes Husband and I will be talking about a news story that we read that day and she will start asking us inquisitive questions. We had our first broken glass from throwing an object in the house and "time-out". I also cut LL's hair for the first time. It was little sad to cut off some curls that have been growing since she was a baby but brushing her hair is tons easier.

I have officially finished my maternity leave and could re-open my Etsy Business. I am sure I may in the future but not an immediate priority. I am working hard for Mums in the Know and missing blogging consistently at times. Time is my worst enemy.

We hope to have a weekend break this month and booking a trip to visit my family in the USA in late Summer. Looking forward to sunshine and new adventures.

Best Wishes!
