Happy 1st Birthday Blog

A year ago this week, I decided to make a commitment to grow and enter the blogging UK blogging community as a lifestyle blogger. I had posted a few blog posts in Spring 2014 but did not consider myself a "blogger" until February 2015. I found myself reading more blogs and soon discovered blog hops or linkups with other bloggers. There was this large community of parent bloggers in the UK that I could learn from and instantly started making connections. I started joining in with weekly linkups and started to take more photos of my family. I am constantly learning new skills. There is a lot I wish I could have accomplished this last year but I am really grateful for the new opportunities that I experienced due to my blog.

Moodles Presents HAPPY - Moodle Your Way to a Smile #Review

I was very interest to review the Moodles Presents Happyfrom Parragon Books. A normal day for me includes chasing after my children and bouncing from one activity to another in hopes to complete a task from my endless to-do list. One of goals for 2016 is to take some time to focus on me. Find a moment each day to relax and reflect on my life. Most days I ride a rollercoaster of emotions. One minute I am happy and the next minute about to cry in frustration.

The idea behind this book is to take a fews minutes to change your mood. By doing the activities you may find you changing your mood from sad to happy or mad to glad. It is not a "happy pill" but a way to reflect and maybe distract your mind from negative or overwhelming thoughts. Each person reading this book will have an unique experience but hopefully positive.

The Home Life Project - February 2016

We were really looking forward to a relaxing Sunday around the house. We have all been fighting illness the last two weeks and all needed a restful day. On Saturday, we had a exciting day celebrating Little Ladybug's birthday with her friends. On this Sunday, I made some heart-shaped cinnamon rolls and finished decorating for Valentine's Day. We nibbled on some leftover cookies from Little Ladybug's cookie making party. After lunchtime, I sent husband to Argos to get a new storage unit of Little Ladybug's room and one step closer to our goal to organise and declutter our home in 2016.
