Me & Mine: A Family Portrait Project 2015 - May

I almost forgot that we took this photo this month. We have been on some fun adventures this month but trying to remember to take family photo is difficult at times. This was take at the Butterfly World Project in a giant flower pot. I just love the colour of the walls.

Dear Blog -

Just a quick note to say that I am thinking about you! The last couple weeks, I have been busy with a new "professional project" and have not had much time to visit you! I hope this weekend to share my "Me & Mine" photo, share how much you (blog) have changed our lives, post a 3-Month Anniversary  Giveaway and announce June's Month Long Father's Day Link Up!

I will come visit again later today!

Love,
Christina xoxo

Mummy & Me - May 2015

I can't believe how quickly the days in May passed. The Little Ones are another month older. Bumblebee Boy (BB) is changing and growing so much these days. It is very possible he will be crawling this next month. Already working on sitting up for a couple minutes unassisted. (It does not help that Big Sister likes to push him over.) Little Ladybug (LL) continues to amaze me with her imagination and ability to have more in-depth conversations about life around her.

The best part of my day is spending time with this two amazing little individuals. I continue to feel so grateful and honoured to be their mother.

{THE ORDINARY MOMENTS 15} Exploring the Neighbourhood with My Daughter

Some of my favourite times with my family are just lazy weekends around the house. We always walk into town during the weekends to buy food for dinner or visit the bookstore but this weekend we decided to something a little different.

We went exploring around our neighbourhood. Our first adventure was just around the streets near our home. We really did not know what was behind the fence at the end of our garden. So we decided to put on our coats and walk past our detached neighbours' homes and see where the sidewalk would lead us. We discovered that the general public could not walk behind our fence but it was the backyard for a housing complex for elderly people. I often see individuals gardening and talking.  Little Ladybug (LL) then took me and than Daddy on further trips around the neighbourhood to explore.

{THE ORDINARY MOMENTS 15} 5 Months Old - Little Man

I definitely feel that time is flying by fast when I realise that my "Little Man" is already 5 months old. He is learning lots from his Big Sister and has many "firsts" the last month or so.
In the last 6 weeks, we took our first family holiday as family. It was the first time that he slept away from home. I think he enjoyed experiencing a beach for the first time and looking at new things but he did seem really happy when we got home. He looked really relaxed to be back in his blue bouncy chair.

Siblings - May 2015

I love my "Big Sister" because she ...
- is funny
- rubs my tummy when it hurts
- runs to get a towel when milk slips out from my mouth
- makes me laugh
- sits next to me on the chair so I don't fall out
- shares her cuddly toys
- sings silly songs to me
- is my Best Friend

I love my "Baby Brother" because he ...
- holds my hand
- lets me put his clothes on my dollies
- allows me to play with his new toys and blanket
- smiles at me when I am sad
- lets me squeeze his cheeks
- dances with me
- is my Best Friend

I am so thankful that they love playing with each other and I am sure that "Little Brother" will be crawling after his sister very soon.

Adventures in Blogging 2015 - 17/52

This is the one blog post that I look forward to completing each week. (Even though it is a little late this week.) I am amazed by how quickly the "blogging world" moves along. I started focusing on blogging 2 months and 1 week ago but I amazed by how many friendly people I have met and how it has changed my family's life. I think I will always struggle with how to accomplish the long list of blog articles that I want and making sure that I am spending quality time with my family. This adventure in blogging requires my whole family's support. My husband is my biggest supporter. He is the person that listens to talk endlessly about my "blogging". He currently reading a book on technical blogging. He is the "IT Manager" and is constantly learning new information and skills to support my blog and me.

{THE ORDINARY MOMENTS 15} - One Sunny Day at the Beach

This photo is from May 2013. Mr L, Little Ladybug (LL) and I spent a week on holiday in Cromer, Norfolk. This was the first time that LL discovered the joy of digging in the sand and making sand castles with her Daddy. I love this photo of me and my girl. It is an "ordinary moment" of time when I felt very content with my life and looking forward to the future. As I sat on the beach and enjoyed the sunshine, I was thinking about the 12 week scan we had a couple weeks before and trying to imagine Little Ladybug being a "Big Sister".  I was happy that we had this exciting time to look forward too.
